I once wrote a poem called Mein Herz ist nicht mehr in Ihren Händen which is German for My heart is no longer in your hands. I wrote this poem not long after I was hurt by someone I really like and lied to me for the last time. Me and this girl were talking a lot and sharing things we wouldn’t share with anyone else. After a while I asked her out and she told me that she wasn’t ready to be in another
relationship since she just got out of a serious one. Then just weeks later I look at her
Facebook and she just change her
relationship status to ‘in a
relationship but I didn’t let it bother me or so I thought. Then when I woke up in the middle of the night suddenly really pissed off that she lead me on. So I grabbed a piece of paper with something to write with and started writing by the time I was done I wrote one of the most
emotionally filled
poems I ever wrote. I turned it into the
poetry teacher the next day and it was published in that years
poetry book.
